Terms of use

Effective October 31, 2026

These terms apply to this website, operated by Philly Sidewalk Repair (“we,” “us”). By using the site you agree to them.

What this site is

Philly Sidewalk Repair is a free referral service. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, inspect or guarantee any work. When you send a request, we pass it to an independent concrete contractor who decides whether to contact you, and who sets their own prices and terms. Any agreement for work is between you and that contractor.

No cost, no obligation

Using the site and the referral is free. You are not obliged to hire anyone we connect you with. We may be paid by the contractors we refer.

Check before you hire

You are responsible for choosing a contractor. Before you sign, ask for their City license, proof of insurance, a written itemized quote, and who pulls the permits. We do not verify every contractor’s license, insurance or work history, and we make no promise about the quality, timing or price of any work.

Information on this site

Our guides summarize public sources and published cost surveys and link to them. They are general information, not legal, engineering, code or financial advice, and they can be out of date. Cost figures are published ranges, not quotes. Confirm anything important with the source or a qualified professional.

Not affiliated with the City

We are not part of, or endorsed by, the City of Philadelphia or any of its departments, and we cannot speed up, waive or decide any City notice, permit or inspection.

Not for emergencies

This site and its phone line are not an emergency service. If there is immediate danger, call 911. For a gas smell, leave the building and call PGW at 215-235-1212 from outside.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from work done, or not done, by any contractor. The site is provided “as is.”

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
